Guest guest
Ladies and Gentleman- Atmataichanya may apologize for the truth he expressed about ramakrishna but i will take it a step further to say that politically correct religous orthodoxy has no place in our discussions. Ramakrishna was a schizophrenic, probably, and vivekenanda a zealous right hand man, with the whole new vedanta following with it as a christianity of mediocrity. let us not even get to the joke of speaking venerably about holy mother, his wife... they are probably as horrible of people as all the gurus out there today, from sai baba, guru mai and sri ramzi. sincerely, O. Guest guest
Dear OP, Your stunning and ferocious words struck me. I have no matching words! Some say they don't believe in or need a Guru, because they think of themselves as fully enlightened!! Some say they don't believe in and need a Guru, because they just don't know how ignorant they are!!! A few really accept they do not know whether a Guru is needed or not and enquire about it ardently. Only very few find that in Silence Truth shines from within. It is in that Silence one knows who is Ramakrishna, Vivekananda etc. Not otherwise. -- Vis ------------------- - "osama peshtin" <saddestragaishappyrajaok <advaitin> Sunday, January 13, 2002 8:32 PM Re: Re: Vedanta Shastra Pramana -politically correct > Ladies and Gentleman- > Atmataichanya may apologize for the truth he expressed > about ramakrishna but i will take it a step further > to say that politically correct religous orthodoxy has > no place in our discussions. > Ramakrishna was a schizophrenic, probably, and > vivekenanda a zealous right hand man, with the whole > new vedanta following with it as a christianity of > mediocrity. > let us not even get to the joke of speaking venerably > about holy mother, his wife... > they are probably as horrible of people as all > the gurus out there today, from sai baba, guru mai and > sri ramzi. > > sincerely, > O.
