May Brahman protect Shankara,

May Brahman protect all Jnanis,

May Brahman protect all seekers from the vile and foul tongues of

Scholars,

Peace! Peace! Peace!

Post Script to the Parable:

 

One of the scholarly repartees reminded me of a part of the parable I

missed quoting:

The Crow grew in wisdom, but could never get rid of his natural habit

of relieving himself on the head of a Saint's statue at the ashram

entrance, his earlier habit of seeing the world from the high perch.
