Guest guest
Namaste Madhavaji: This reply does not constitute that I have disagreements with what you have said. This is just to clarify the list's position on the subject matter of discussion. Most of us in the list haven't reached the level of spiritual maturity to free our-self from all sorts of annoyance. Most of the time the list members have been sensitive and accommodative to messages that do not agree with their background and beliefs. We had many posts with jokes and members have no objection as long as they pertain to the subject matter of discussion to make a point. Those of us who post more often need to be more sensitive to our fellow members and we should not take advantage of their tolerance and patience. We should recognize the fact that irrelevant nonsensical discussions have no place in this list. The silent members do expect the list moderators to curtail irrelevant discussions to maintain the sanctity of the list. It is a well-known fact that Pujya Swamiji Chinmayanandaji was revered only for his spiritual messages and not for his jokes. Those of us who listened to him personally will agree that his jokes always pertain to the discussion topic and the purpose of his joke was to make a pointblank point. You may know, people have asked Pujya Gurudev > Swamy Chinmayandaji on why he cracks somany jokes during a very serious Gita
