Guest guest
My namaskarams to all, I indeed consider it my great good fortune that my 'Rambles in Vedanta' led me to this list in mid-Dec 2001. I have learnt such a lot in the last one month from several of the contributors, that I have come to revere many of them as my Gurus. After one of my Gurus Atmachaintanyaji (with whom without meaning any disrespect I differ on the subject of Ramana Maharshi's enlightenment) introduced himself to us recently, I searched the archives for the introductions of others.I could not locate the ones of the following members who have also contributed quite a lot to my learning: Shri(s) Gummuluru Murthy, Harsha, K.Kathirasan, Ken Knight, R. Viswanathan and Raghava Kaluri. May I request them for a brief introduction about themselves. Regards, Venkat ps. Interested members can find my own introduction in Msg #11626 in the archives - after reading other introductions I am a little ashamed that it is a bit too long. Guest guest
Namaste. Thank you, I had tried to send you an introduction on the previous email address and it was returned to me. My name is Robyn Simpson and I have had a life-long interest in Yoga and Vedic theory and practices. I am a journalist, former magazine editor and writer. In the 1980's I was given diksha by my swami, Swami Amritananda Saraswati, the discipline of Paramahansa Satyananda Saraswati, and since then have followed this lineage. I have applied to the group in order to expand my knowledge of the great Adi Shankaracharya's philosophy and practice as I have recently become a student of Jyotish, as part of my Vedic studies. Many thanks and best wishes Robyn - ramvchandran advaitin Thursday, January 17, 2002 12:47 PM Re: Some Introductions Please Namaste: Please note the following correction: Advaitin list moderators's contact email address is <advaitins > Also interesting Links related advaita vedanta philosophy materials are also available at: advaitin/links/ warmest regards, Ram Chandran advaitin, "Madhava K. Guest guest
namaste. I notice my introduction is not filed in the members/introductions section. But it is in the archives and can be accessed at advaitin/message/8092 May be, shri Madhava, at his convenience, can add that introduction to the Files section. Regards Gummuluru Murthy -----
