Meaning:

Sowing the great seeds of devotion, not going behind

the diverging five senses and thus safeguarding

themselves, without giving mind to the six enemies

(kAmam, krodham, lopam, mOham, madham, mArcharyam),

without getting covered in the three characters

(rAjasa, thAmasa, satva) that cause hurdle to

liberation, unifying together the four internal

karaNas (manas, budhdhi, chiththam, ahankAram) to

elevate themselves to spiritual attainment, one who

seeks the Truth - Supreme, the Lord shiva makes them

to be He Himself ! One who is present gloriously in

the six vedangas (shiksha, vyAkaraNam, chandhas,

niruktham, jyothiSha, kalpam) of the learnt, never

forgetting His Feet where people live that prosperous

kazumalam (sirkazi) is the place of our Lord.

This is a very nice rhyming padhikam called thiruththALachchadhi.
