Namaste all, Can we get out of the flat earth society and at least jump up one dimension and use a bit of Plato for the analogy: 'God is a sphere whose centre is everywhere and whose circumference is nowhere.' You can substitute 'True knowledge' for God or Brahman as it follows the same theme. Just a thought in passing by this thread which I usually stand back from and just enjoy, Ken Knight This actually makes complete sense Kenji! Guest guest
Namaste Kenji, That was an absolute marvel from Plato which if contemplated upon has the potential to transport one even beyond the third dimension. I would suggest that we left it as it is for is not God non-different from 'True Knowledge'. A few days back Dennis quoted from Eliot, 'For us there is only trying, the rest is not our business'. I am sure that there are many such aphorisms from English poets and philosophers which are advaitic in import. May I suggest that we collected them probably under the head 'Advaitic Sutras in English'. Regards, Venkat ken knight [sMTP:hilken_98] Tuesday, April 09, 2002 9:00 PM advaitin RE: Re: Whence adhyAsa?
