Reminds me the experience I had with Mr. Subash from Austria! When first I

came to Berlin I was just curiously looking around the satsang places. I

came accross an advertisement written in German "satsang mit Subash". I

went in the evening to listen what he has to say. The first day there were

6 people, which includes me, Subash and his wife, and the host and his wife.

I can sence the knowledge of conviction from Subash. Also that was the

first time I have ever attended any neo-advaitins satsang. For me satsang

that satsang was completely different! The only relation which I could see

there was a photo of Ramana Maharshi. But then that was all! I had no

idea on what they were talking. Finally, they asked me about my whereabouts

and then we started discussing. Though I enjoyed being with them most, I

also felt sorry (from with in my heart) for their lack of spiritual

knowledge for a perfect guidance. Again, I thought it may be my ignorance

to even think they do not know :-) But they are very kind souls, I enjoyed

going there again the next time.

As I often do... when I am encountered with a situation which is totally

different from my cultural upbringing, my mind refuses to accept the

situation. But then I had this mahamantra with me "WHY NOT! THEY ARE IN

THEIR OWN WORLD... YOU FORCED YOURSELF IN TO THEIR WORLD, NOW DONT COMPLAIN.

YOU HAVE A CHOICE! EITHER YOU LEAVE AND LET THEM LIVE. OR YOU LIVE IN

THEIR WORLD AND WATCH THE PLAY."

Yours,

Madhava
