Notes: 1. One of the works of sambandhar that shows his scholarliness in thamiz. 2. Whether read from start to end or end to start the hymn reads the same way (palindrome style - but for the whole hymn). The whole padhikam is this way. Hence the padhikam is called thiru mAlai maRRu. 3. Notice that all the letters used are neDil (long vowels).
