New silent Ramana-Maharshi-group: Sri Ramana

Dear All,

I have opened a new silent group Sri Ramana. You may ask: for what use is

another Ramana-Maharshi-group? Are there not more than enough availabe? Yes

indeed there are.

You will find here nothing additional to the other Ramana-groups, but the

contrary: reduction to the naked essence of one short quote of Ramana Maharshi a

day. Somehow I felt the necessity to open such a very silent group for those

devotees wishing to receive only one small portion of the teaching a day to use

for their spiritual practice and meditation.

 

This is the description of the list:

"This list is dedicated exclusively to the life and teaching of Bhagavan Sri

Ramana Maharshi. It is a silent list with one short quote a day - nothing for

discussing, not even for sharing but simply for listening in silence.

Sri Ramana stressed that the most potent teaching is in silence. This list is

dedicated to the powerful silence of Sri Ramana Maharshi.

'Silence is the true upadesa (teaching). It is perfect upadesa.'"
