Guest guest
Namaste. Here is another thought on Seeing. True, when the distinctions vanish and good things happen, there is no seer-seen distinction. True, what is seen may only be an image when above happens. The question ,however, is as long as the seer-seen distinction exists, what does a anyone(Seer) really perceive ? Person-A <-----sees------> a nail <-----hears-----> a sound In the above two cases of seeing and hearing, knowledge of the object, where does it reside? Is it in the Atman or is it in the mind. It is more likely that it is in the Atman because, otherwise, Prakriti can stand on its own, which is not true. If we agree that the knowledge is in the Atman, then, Atman being the same, there is no distinction between a nail and a sound. Hence, it seems that though the knowledge itself is in Atman, the distinction is in the mind. Then what is it that is the knowledge in the Atman when one perceives an object, if any ? Saguna is the power behind prakriti, etc. So if one is 'realised' one sees with the power of Saguna but is aware that there is no difference and all is one in the dream. There is no knowledge in the Atman as such for knowledge is in the Mahat or the creation mind........ONS..Tony.

Guest guest
Namaste Dennis, There is no difference between dream and wake-up states. The question is also the same in dream or wake-up states as well as deep-sleep state.
