To the Head, Who wears the head (skull) garland to His head, Who accepts alms on a head (skull bowl), Oh head bow down ! Notes: 1. thirun^Avukkarasar has written thiru aN^ga mAlai directing all the parts of the body to be into the service of Lord shiva. The best use of having the body is to worship the Lord as the use of a vehicle is to carry to the destination. If that is not the case what is the use of that body ? (kOLil poRiyil guNamilavE eNguNaththAn thALai vaNaN^gAth thalai - vaLLuvar) 2. pali - alms. ===== --------------------------- Visit Shaivism Home Page at http://www.shaivam.org --------------------------- Greetings - send holiday greetings for Easter, Passover http://greetings./
