Meaning:

Part of the Lady Who is the mother of our

kaDamban (murugan); The Lord of the karakkOyil

of thirukkaDambUr; His duty is to support me

too. My duty just to keep serving.

 

Notes:

1. "en kaDan paNi cheydhu kiDappadhe" is a

statement that generations of devotees consider

to be synonymous with the state of saint appar.

He lived that statement. The moment one says

thirunAvukkarasar automatically the image comes

to the mind is that of a saint with the uzavAram

on his shoulder.
