Guest guest
advaitin Shri Ramchandran wrote about the hinduism.co.za site. Hari Om, I had difficulty opening the web site but when I managed to open it, it contained excellent information as Shi Ramchandran pointed out. I wrote to them immediately and giving below extracts from their reply. Perhaps, Mr. Ramchandranji can organize through some members to have an index of Hinduism related sites with some ratings for our own reference. If members know of any organization which raises funds to help place Hinduism related materials on the Internet (by booking domain names- hosting them free- agreeing to provide links to their web sites etc.), Pl let me know as I would like to contribute financially and otherwise to such an effort. Pranams. P.B.V.Rajan Shree P.B.V.Rajan Hari Om. Thank you for your message and compliments. We highly appreciate them. Our web site www.hinduism.co.za/ is published from South Africa. 'za' stands for the dutch word Zuid Afrika meaning South Africa. We initially wanted to have a .com URL but either they were taken up or blocked by other religious groups by reserving them and not making use of them. We enquired with one such person who was in the USA, whether we can buy the URL but his asking price was $1500.00 and that was about four to five years ago. That was beyond our reach. With best wishes and pranam Harshad Master >E-mail hinduism2000 >Hari Om, > I am a member of advaitin list. >On being informed about your site by Shri Ramchandran, >the moderator, I visited it. >Please accept my sincere felicitations on the work >done.
