Meaning:

Praising thousands of names hailed by celestials,

for the never separating devotees the One Who brings

the non-attainable wealth, Being the mantra, tantra

and medicine Capable of curing even the incurable

diseases, the Warrior Who held the mighty bow in hand

burning the three cities, that Lord, the One in

puLLirukku vELUr (vaiththIswaran kOvil),

without praising Him, oh I wasted so many days !

Notes:

1. Realizing the glory of God, hailing the God is

the worthy deed. That is the benevolent deed even

the divines do. Because It is the only one Who could

provide the never attainable wealth (liberation,

attaining Its glorious Feet) and cure incurable

disease

(pAsam). The days that are not used to meditate on

that Lord shiva are useless days.

2. The saint here refers to the days he went away

from shaivism.
