You remove the diseases of those who adore ! Oh the One, Who goes on alms with skull as the best bowl ! Having the forest (cemetery) as Your place, One Who dances in the darkness ! Oh Hunter, aren't You the (Lord of) kurugAvUr veLLaDai ?! Notes: 1. When cundharar was on pilgrimage along with others, one day they were quite hungry and thirsty, but still continued their journey. The Lord Whom the vedas hail as the provider of food and nourishment, came as a chanter of vedas and set up a water-shed. He provided food and water to cundharar and other devotees and asked them to take some rest. When they woke up they found the person and the water-shed disappeared ! cundharar was melt by the way God fondle Its devotees. This padhikam sprang out of his heart. 2. kalan - instrument/(here)bowl, pali - alms (begging). ===== --------------------------- Visit Shaivism Home Page at http://www.shaivam.org --------------------------- Sign up for SBC Dial - First Month Free http://sbc.
