Guest guest
Namaste, First thanks for your cooperation in keeping the list focusing on its scope and noble goals and we truly appreciate your efforts. We can still improve on several grounds and the following steps can greatly help the list sailing smoothly through the ocean of thoughts and insights: 1. Follow 'Swadharma' while posting our messages and the guideline is quite simple. Some messages that we read bring peace and happiness and some others bring frustrations and uneasiness. If we follow swadharma, we take time to make sure that our messages bring happiness as much as possible. All actions including posting a message should be done with the 'yagna' spirit and with sincerity and conviction not to hurt others. The reward for posting a message that brings happiness and peace to many is the message itself! 2. Make determination not to include the entire message of a poster while replying back. Also while replying, we should make sure whether the reply is relevant for all the members of the list, if not, send a private email reply instead of sending to the list. When we send the reply, read the email address of the addressee and make approrpiate ameendment as necessary. It does take little more time to delete unnecessary portions of the message but it is worthwhile because it is a win-win strategy for universal happiness. 3. While debating on the subject matter, let us forget the personality of the poster and make a pledge not to make unnecessary remarks with high potentials for spreading anger and frustration to our fellow members. Let us remember that as advaitins, we have committed ourselves for the universal peace and happiness. Thanks again for your cooperation and support, Warmest regards, Advaitin List Moderators
