Notes: 1. purANas talk about various stories where a divine favored one clan to the other in blessing. Also some deities are worshipped by a particular clan or the other. A careful study of the glories talked of Lord shiva in purANas it can be very much observed that as the Supreme pati, God has always given boons to all pashus irrespective of whether it is deva or asura or nara etc. Also Lord shiva is worshipped, as indicated by the purANas, by all sects. Of course the boon they get depends on what they ask what is their righteousness, but boons are not denied because of any classification as such. Whoever worships with sincerity is certain to get the blessings of God. cf. thiN^gaL cUDinarEnum tiripuram eriththanarEnum eN^gum eN^gaL perumAn pukazaladhu ikal pazi ilarE - cambandhar ===== --------------------------- Visit Shaivism Home Page at http://www.shaivam.org --------------------------- Sign up for SBC Dial - First Month Free http://sbc.
