Guest guest
Namaste, Your post came just on time to remind us the individual and collective responsibility while conducting our discussions maintaining civility. Sri Sadanandaji, the Chief moderator (one of the founding member of advaitin list) has ordained me to take the necessary steps for maintaining civility in the list discussions. The standard moderation policy of this list is restated below: (1) Members have full freedom to express their point of view (opposing or in support of Shankara's Advaita philosophy and other related philosophies and theologies) as long as they maintain civility. (2) Members who violate list policies in spite of several warnings will be moderated and the postings from those members will be released if and if their article meets the existing list policies. (3) The list imposes moderation to all new members to the list initially. After reviewing several postings of those members, the list allow them post without moderation. The list moderators do not impose any moderation on any member unless it becomes absolutely necessary. For the past four years of its existence the list has imposed moderation only on a handful of violaters. The list always welcomes suggestions and ideas for further improvement and keep the discussions meaningful and fruitful. I want to thank again all members for their support and understanding. Warmest regards, Ram Chandran Note: We have learnt how to remove the dirt from our clothes without any damage and the goal of this list is to remove 'ignorance' without hurt and injury! advaitin, "kamal_kothari_india" <kamal_kothari_india> wrote: > Pranaam, > > This refers to a few posts by some respected fellow members of the > Group over the past couple of days.
