Guest guest
Daily Words of the Buddha September 2, 2002 To avoid all evil, to cultivate good, and to purify one's mind- this is the teaching of the Buddhas. Dhammapada 183 Namaste All,IMO, It is real whilst one is in it, as Sankara said, so there has to be a certain purification of the buddhi and vijnanamayakosa to enable one to understand the concepts and science of moksha. http://www.geocities.com/aoclery/Talkonpurification.doc It is fine to talk nondualy and deny our senses etc, but if we don't purify we will always be no more than verbal non dualists, vndists! For it takes a great amount of spiritual maturity to really understand the concept 'Who am I?' and know what to look for.....ONS..Tony. ===== 'What is Truth?' (Pilate to Jesus.) (Jesus answered with silence). http://www.geocities.com/aoclery Another interesting Jewish view. http://www.netureikarta.org/ Finance - Get real-time stock quotes http://finance. Guest guest
Greetings, My favorite verse from the Dhammapada. Isn't your point made in the Bhagavad Gita, one must balance "knowledge" with "actions" or .... If you can't walk your talk, you're just talking. And it may be apochraphal but didn't the Buddha say something like, "In success, walk on; in failure, walk on and in any case walk on!"
