Namaste;

Let us continue the Gita Satsangh with few additional verses. As

several of the members rightly pointed out, verses 20 and 21 should be

studied together to get the essence of the subject discussion.

Consequently, I decided to repeat verse 20 again. Since all the

commentaries are already available in the File section of this

website, I just want to post the verses and the meanings. This will

help us to take additional time to read other commentaries and to

bring additional insights.

In future, I will try my level best to gather the verses in subject

matter sequence instead of separating them by fixed number. Hopefully,

this will enhance our understanding and focus our attention on

specific subject area.

Translation of the above verses::

Chapter 8 20 "Beyond this Unmanifest, there is yet another

eternal Unmanifest, the supremely Divine Substance, which does not

perish even though all beings perish."

Chapter 8 21 "The Unmanifest, spoken of as the

indestructible, is called the Supreme Goal; that is My supreme Adobe,

attaining which man does not return."

Chapter 8 22 "Arjuna, that Supreme Purusa, in whom all

beings reside, and by whom all this is pervaded, is attainable only by

exclusive Devotion."

Easy referrences;

The Gita Supersite http://www.gitasupersite.org/ contains most of

the commentaries including commentaries in many languages.
