Guest guest
Dear Muthaiya: Welcome to the Advaitin Group. You have raised a very valid and common inquisitive question. Spirituality is a personal and subjective experience and is not based on objective assessment. Only a "Realized" person can realize another "Realized" person. I cannot understand the depth of the knowledge of Einstein, unless I have the same depth of understanding. I can only rely on hearsay or validation from other people. For all that, a mendicant sitting on the banks of Ganges may be a "Realized" soul enjoying the blissful state, and we the unrealized souls can never know that. We will only misunderstand and pity him thinking that he is a begger! It does not matter whether somebody is Realized or not. What matters is how could I inch further towards that goal. Yes, if you are looking for authentic Knowledge and sharing of personal experience, you will get them in plenty from our Upanishads, Gita, and other scriptures, which are the original sources of Knowledge from which other Realized souls also have drawn their inspiration . For ease of reference, we have a number of books written on the subject by various 'sages' in contemporary times. Hari Om!
