Gita Satsangh - A Quick Assessment of Member Participation

Namaste:

 

The revival of Gita Satsangh, Chapter 8 has come to an end and we

will start Chapter 9 from next week in October. The Satsangh is a

great success and the list has received over 200 postings and in

addition we had discussions on related topics. The participation from

members were good but I urge new members to come forward to raise

questions, comments and post new insights and references.

 

I want to specially thank ProfVK for his leadership in motivating

young and veteran members to join the discussions. Sri Sunderji who

coordinated the Satsangh before has been quite instrumental for its

success and he has provided scholarly and timely references and has

been maintaining the Gita related materials in the Advaitin File

Folder. I am quite sure that the list members would expect these two

stalwarts to continue their unselfish service with the yagna spirit.

When the Lord of Yoga Himself assures the students of this

dialogue that its study itself is a Jnana-Yajna by which He can be

propitiated, all the participants share equally in that unselfish

service!
