Guest guest
Namaste. Thank You all (esp. Nair-ji, ProfVK-ji, Madhava-ji) for helping me through these verses. This may not be shaastriya but I tried to map out the analogies that came up during the discussions... more for my own understanding than for anything else. Would appreciate if someone can please shine the light of critical review on it and give me comments that fall back on shaastriya knowledgebase. *** Analogy # 1 : Movie Creation : Operator, Projector and Film Reality made up from : Substratum : Screen Projection Of : Actors, Objects and Situations Observer : Audience / Viewer Dissolution Caused By : End of Movie Comments : (1). The Lord doesn't need any other apparatus to create Creation (unlike the Operator requiring a Projector and Film) (2). Also, The Lord is all - Projector, Screen and Actors ! (3). The images flitting on the screen are just that - only images and not at all substantial. They only contribute to 'virtual' reality !. At the end of the movie, the 'virtual' reality collapses into Nothing !" *** Analogy # 2 : Dream Creation : Dreamer Reality made up from : Substratum : "Dreamscape" / Dreamworld Projection Of : Dream Persons, Objects & Situations Observer : Dreamer Dissolution Caused By : Waking Up Comments : Here the 'virtual' reality is designed and executed by the Dreamer within the Dreamworld. But when the dreamer wakes up, the dreamworld collapses into the Dreamer. All the Dream Persons, Objects & Situations collapse into the Dreamer. *** Analogy # 3 : Humans (or creatures afflicted with Ego) Creation : The Lord Reality made up from : Substratum : World, Time & Space Projection Of : My, Mine, Not Me, Not Mine Observer : Ego-Me Dissolution Caused By : Self-Realization Comments : Here the reality is perceived 'real' but is actually 'virtual'. When Ego-Me realizes the true nature of Self, that is when the virtual 'bubble' bursts and the so-called 'real' world collapses into the Self. *** The Only Reality (No longer an analogy !) : The Lord Creation : The Lord Reality made up from : Substratum : The Lord Projection Of : The Lord Observer : The Lord Dissolution Caused By : Not Applicable !! Comments : NONE !!! Since this is the ultimate substratum. Ram2
Guest guest
Namaste Ram(2)-Ji. I believe you need only the last section of your post quoted below: QUOTE *** The Only Reality (No longer an analogy !) : The Lord Creation : The Lord Reality made up from : Substratum : The Lord Projection Of : The Lord Observer : The Lord Dissolution Caused By : Not Applicable !! Comments : NONE !!! Since this is the ultimate substratum. UNQUOTE If you permit me, I will change the comments as follows: Comments: Since all answers are "The Lord", no creation, projection or dissolution has taken place. As such, there is no substratum required too. The Lord "remains" - what a poor verb, oh, humans! The Lord is Ram2. But Ram2 keeps seeing creation. What shall he do? Repeat his own name "without the two". What will happen then? He is "then one without a second". He "becomes" his conclusion. I am not playing with words, Ram2-Ji. That is the ultimate message of your post and you know it. Let us, therefore, forget the other analogies. You don't need them any more. There, of course, is nothing asAstrIya in them. Thanks for the efforts. Best regards. Guest guest
Dear Nair-ji, I realize what you had written was much more than mere playing with the Ram2 word and I thank you for triggering the thoughts that you did. Ram2 QUOTE > Comments: > The Lord is Ram2. But Ram2 keeps seeing creation. What shall he do? > Repeat his own name "without the two". What will happen then? He > is "then one without a second".
