Guest guest
Namaste: First, let me welcome ProfVKji to the list as a fellow moderator. I also want to take this opportunity to thank ProfVKji for willingness to dedicate his time to guide the list. His dedication, wisdom and scholarship will help the list to conduct the spiritual discussions in a friendly atmosphere. We are all truly blessed by his association and contribution. I want to express my sincere admiration to both ProfVKji and Sadaji. They both come from families with great traditions for scholarship and community service. I believe both ProfVKji and Sadaji truly confirm to Lord Krishna's statement of chapter 6. Warmest regards, Ram Chandran Note: Both ProfVKji and Sadaji continue their public service inspite of age and work commitments. ProfVKji retired over a decade ago and he is now busier than when he had his full time job at Birla Institute of Technology, Pilani, India. Sadaji with his full time job at the Naval Research Lab has another full time job during Saturdays and Sundays! Those who live in Washington metropolitan are aware that Sadaji serves as the Acharya of the Virginia chapter of Chinmaya Mission Washington Regional Center (CMWRC). Sadaji conducts the adult Gita discourses on Sunday mornings. Recently, he has also volunteered to give Gita discourses on Saturday mornings at the Durga temple in fairfax, Virginia. I hope that this note will help more members of the list to get motivation to volunteer their time for community service. advaitin, kuntimaddi sadananda <kuntimaddisada> wrote: > Dear advaitins, > > It is a pleasure to welcome Professor V. Guest guest
My dear Professor VK: Congratulations for becoming a moderator for such an august group. Personally I have benefited immensely by the manner in which you explain most difficult concepts with simplw analogies. Whenever I re-read your books, I cannot but feel that you must have been truly inspired when you were writing. Please do advise from time to time how true Advaitins should learn to live. Regards Shanti Mehta
