Advaitin list has been running very smoothly under the able guidance

of Shree Ram Chandran. Moderators rarely interfere with the free

flow of ideas unless it is way out of the scope of the list or the

moderators feel that poster is using the list for his personal

agenda-s.

They try to stepin quickly if the posts do not aim at the issues but

on personalities. During the past week we saw some of this although

I get the feeling that was not intentional on the posters. Yet I

would like to remind all the members to focus on the discussion of

the issues rather than unrelated matters. Providing a sarcastic

remarks on persons and posts has no place in this list since noone

can get any benefit from such remarks. I strongly urge everyone to

abide by these simple courtesies respecting the individuals but

addressing only on the issues that have been raised as objectively as

possible. As I said before, respecting all aachaarya-s is a sign of

culture but accepting all aachaarya-s is sign of a confused mind.

I am sure Prof.VK as moderator will be a valuable addition for

running this list very smoothly and fulfilling the very purpose of

the creation of this list - that is for mutual education using

discussion format.

Bhagavad Geeta discussions are going very beautifully. When the

discussions and issues have been addressed before we go to the next

set of sloak-s, I request if Prof. VK can provide us summary of the

discussions pertaining to the set of sloka-s. In a way, those who do

not have lot of time to read through many of the posts will not be

deprived of the essence of the discussion. Prof.VK did provide such

summary in the past - particularly related to the topic of two

avyakta-s. Such summary of the discussions will also help in

wrapping up the discussions and paving the way for the next set of

the sloka-s.
