Tomas,

Your introduction touched my heart.Western philosophy

and science started in"wonder".Indian philosophy

originates in existential finitude and Dukha of human

existence.Maybe the loneliness in the hospital

environment has given you a sense of mortality

which,in my view, is the beginning of wisdom. You are a

young man of 20 and know your potential. That

enthusiastic confidence tempered with wisdome,I hope,

will help you get the Advaitic/Zen balance in life.

Namaste, Sri Thomas!

I was elated to read your exuberant introduction. Welcome to the egroup. I

look

forward to your participation.

It wasn't clear whether you are in the hospital for treatment, employment, or

internet access - in any case, I hope you are well.

Thank you for your recognition, Vasant.

I look forward to reading the many articles and commentaries made pertaining

to the topic of shankara and his findings of absolution.

Thomas

Ps. Thank you all very much For your recognition and warm welcome of me into

what seems to be a wonderfully informing e-group. To clear up anyconfusion,

i am in a hospital learning skills to cope with depression. I have recieved

a great amount of attention since my attmittance here and am currently

making plans for my discharge.
