New procedure for posting announcements on advaitin list

Advaitin list has been very open and encouraged discussions on vedanta,

but it is important to recognize that it is centered on the advaita as

expounded by Adi Shankara.

 

Lately, there have been few announcements on this list serve which may

not have any direct bearing on the scope of the list serve. Some have

joined the list as members just to post their annocements. In order to

make sure there is no misuse of these previlages, from here on, we

request all the announcements to be send to shree Ram Chandran, the

moderator and the administrator of this list serve. He will make

appropriate decision to forward the post to the list or not, depending

on the utility of the announcement and its compatability with the scope

of the list serve. I request everyoneone to adhere to this new

procedure to insure that we are not flooded by announcments that are

irrelavant to the purpose of this list.

 

I have requested Shree Ram Chandran to monitor those who violate this

procedure.

 

The procedure is not intended to curtail the required announcements for

the propagation of the advaitic tradition but only to stop cluttering

the list with announcements that are irrevalant to the scope of the

list. I request all the memebers and poster to adhere to this procedure.
