Guest guest
Sorry - My personal mail to Dennis got posted to the list, since I did not check clearly the address in the reply button before I pressed the send button. Anyway I hope to write about the book once it is published and the Lord intended to be an introduction to that! Hari Om! Guest guest
Namaste Nairji, Many thanks for your kind eulogy of the book - pity this couldn't have been included on the cover! Seriously, though, it is no false humility to say that all of this was received wisdom, from all the books that I have read and especially from this forum. The hand and brain were in truth only tools for assembling this knowledge. It is I who should be thanking you all for the continuing source of inspiring posts on all topics relating to Advaita. As far as the website is concerned, I am in the process of expanding the Discourse section significantly. I am creating pages for each of the Sri Atmananda prakriyas, with the key aspects from Sri Ananda's posts, for which he has kindly given his consent. The first two are already available. I will also (soon hopefully) be providing essays (posts) on key topics from other writers, whom I will be contacting as soon as I can get round to it! Best wishes, Dennis
Guest guest
Namaste Dennisji. Your humility invokes advaitic wisdom. The brain, hands, tools, language, this forum, the vast body of philosophical literature, you and your book are all 'given' because I warranted it. That last part, "I warranted it", if separated from the rest, is ego. But, understood as one comprehensive whole with the rest, is advaita, where "I", the humble beneficiary, fully prostrate and dissolve in the bliss of thankfulness to Knowledge, the Giver, who is none other than our Goddess Saraswati. Thanks again for your wonderful contributions and for rightly including Anandaji's essays on Atmanandaji's teachings in the discourse section of your website. PraNAms.
