Guest guest
Namaste, Lets slowly give a three dimentional shape, tie down to day to day level, to the theories (vedantic). If we can lay down a grand unified Jnana-bhakthi equation, which can put all our day to day actions and happenings in perspective, Vedanta stands as a ready reckoner for activities of freewill...as science is for 'cause and effect' or 'action and reactions' (two tier)... vedanta is for intent (third tier) of all the cause which results in varied effects and reactions.... Mastering cause-effect, action-reaction is science ... Mastering intent-cause-effect, intent-action-reaction is vedanta The master of that is a scientist ...and this is a sanyaasi...both are evolved stages not an assumed position.... The Equation ============ Bhakthi is the Soul kindling feeling (deep yearning)... Emotions are the tools to achive bhakthi .... Resolve is the direction or the objectivity obtained out of reasonings (culmination of knowledge) ie., jnana. ...... Emotions, tied with the Resolve, used in kindling Bhakthi results in plethora of activities, life styles and destines that are visible Lets apply the above equation on one situation.... Pocessive emotion tied with a resolve to acquire wealth eventually kindles bhakthi (deep yearning). This results in acquiring wealth... like wise .... ============================================================ Resolution ......Emotion used........Effects ============================================================= fixing the blame....Anger...........hatred and dissatisfaction (for the problems) fixing the problems..Pleasantness ..Love and satisfaction (puzzles of life) Wealth accumulation..pocessiveness...feeling temporary security Analyze the cause....Acceptiveness...Capacity to Learn owning the problem...dharmic.........leardership (grihasta) perorming karma in its dharma....... equanimity......jnana ============================================================== Pranams to the enlightened group, V.Srinivasan
