Guest guest
We all mourn the loss of the six American and one Israeli Astronauts in the Columbia tragedy. As many know (I did not before yesterday), one of the American Astronauts was of Indian descent, a brilliant Indian woman scientist Kalpana Chawala, who lost her life along with her colleagues. This was her second flight into space. The following link takes to a story of the loss being felt in India, where much pride was taken in Kalpana Chawala's accomplishments. http://news.sify.com/cgi-bin/sifynews/news/content/news_fullstory_v2.jsp?article\ _oid=12576721&category_oid=-31504&page_no=1 ===== /join Mail Plus - Powerful. Namaste, It is a great tragedy for the families. However perhaps some good will come out of it. Perhaps nations will realise they are not omnipotent. It will be a greater tragedy if thousands of body bags come home from a war. It is an interesting point that the Hopi told the USA, and the UN that man would only be allowed to put a house in space. So in light of this tragedy of seven deaths, although tens of thousands of children die unsung everyweek, perhaps the influence of the Goddess will be more felt. The intersting coincidences, in light of current circumstances, are that it is the same week the challenger blew up in 1986, the first Israeli astronaut was part of the attack on Iraq's nuclear power generator. Some see coincidence--------perhaps we should penetrate it for meaning, for as we know nobody has really died. Man proposes---------God disposes...........ONS...Tony.
