Difference between Hindu culture and Hindu religion

Hi all,

 

I am trying hard to convince a friend that there is no

difference between "Hindu religion" and "Hindu

Culture".

 

We both agree and understand that Hinduism is actually

a way of life, a philosophy. And I use this as my

argument to say that Hindu religion and Hindu culture

are synonymns and he is using this as an argument

against it -

 

I will greatly appreciate if you could throw some

light on this topic and/or send me some good links.

 

If you feel this is off topic for this group, pardon

me and point me to some relevant forum.
