question on advaita

namaste,

am new here and this is my first post. so pelase bear

with me if i make any mistakes.

can anybody please tell me what is the exact meanign

of mimamsa or mimansa? it seems sankara campaigned

against it. does it refer to ritual chanting+rituals

or is it something else?

also what is the exact meaning of sruti (in the

advaita philosophy of sankara or gaupadaka-one of the

teachers of govind who was the guru of sankara.)
