Hi Harvey,

 

The teaching of predestination is very ancient. Sri Ramana himself

emphasized it at times to serious devotees and stated that things should

be taken as they come to us and accepted in order to have peace of mind

needed to dive into the Heart and realize one's Self-Nature.

 

The logic behind the doctrine of predestination is both elegant and

elementary. The fact that it is simple and easy to grasp is probably one

of the reasons that Ramesh has latched on to it.

 

My feeling is that whatever helps or seems to help is good. However,

Self Knowledge has little to do with theories, intellect, and logic.
