Guest guest
Hi Greg, I read your "Zen on Wheels" article. The message seems to be: suicidal bike riding provides oceanic mystical experience. That's also why they climb Everest. Well, I guess it's great for your health until the day you smash into something. Please be careful. Anyhow, here's a silly prejudice of mine which perhaps reveals my inane side. Reading that you had gone to Berkeley and studied philosophy, I somehow imagined you as spaced-out, with long hair, and hardly one to hang out with those no-nonsense street dudes. Just goes to show... Ramana was a boxer in his youth. Not all spiritual types are gentle and sedentary. Good luck and Hari Om! I can see that you are quite athletic, riding your bike all over the mean city. However, with the helmet and sunglasses, you are still a bit of a mystery man. But perhaps it's better that way... The body is only some temporary clothes anyway... ======================== Namaste Sri Benjamin-ji, Yes, I know, that is a lot of covering. Some of the others on this list might know why, and the story of the bike. It is really an advaitin bike. No brakes, and only one gear! For more info on that kind of bike, and some more pictures of me, check out my new bicycle site: www.oldskooltrack.com - there are a few links to nonduality, but they are hidden! " Do you need to will to drive the bike or the bike rides by destiny ? Just kidding :-) I'll upload my photo as soon as I can get one scanned. I guess Kmart would do it ( if they haven't closed shop near my home !! ) Guru Venkat
