I have heard that Ramesh has Sri Ramana's picture on his wall, so certainly we can't be too tough on him. As far as his first hand knowledge or understanding goes, I am not impressed. Primary sources are always better than secondary sources. In my view, here are the primary sources on the Advaita path.. 1. One's own experience and knowledge of the Self. 2. Testimony and instruction of Guru or Self-Realized sages like Sri Ramana 3. Following the essential teachings of the Upanishads If you get access to either 2 or 3 or both and are able to grasp the teaching of the Self even partially, by grace you reach 1, your own experience. 2 and 3 make perfect sense only after 1. Sages like Sri Ramana tell us that 1, 2, and 3 are always found to be complementary and consistent with each other.
