Guest guest
Shankar - My deep condolences. It is easy to advice that all is Brahman, eternal immutable etc but it is difficult to swallow personal loss. My prayers to you and your family. I am sure your mother has joined the supreme and seeing the whole drama is different perspective. God Bless you. Hari OM! Guest guest
Namaste Sri Shankar: The loss of dear ones irrespective of their age always will likely linger in our minds for quite sometime. Let me take this opportunity to express my sincere condolences and pray that you get His grace to relieve your grief. Our Hindu system of rites and rituals along with prayers hopefully will help you to provide the strength to bear the loss. The presence of many relatives and friends will provide you the necessary psychological support. Take some time to listen to the musical versions of Gita verses and specifically the verses from chapter 2 (verse #s 20 to 25). Listening the musical recitation and reading and understanding the meaning of those verses will help you to remember the love and affection showered by your mother. As a Vedantin you should be able to appreciate the message of the Lord that the soul is eternal, and pleasant memories of your mother will be always with you and guide you through your life.
