Guest guest
Namaste: Inspite of my direct and indirect hints to stop this discussion, the 'piece-meal conversation' continues enabling Sri Jay to make the noise! In my young age, I and my brother used to shout at each other and my grandmother used to advice us that if one of the two keeps quiet, there will be no more noise! She was quite correct in her assertion and let us borrow her wisdom and enjoy a peaceful atmosphere by observing silence! I appreciate your cooperation and understanding in advance, Warmest regards, Ram Chandran
Guest guest
Namaste Ramji. Advice accepted, although I am unable to agree that silence is the best solution in the circumstances. And, if Jay is making noise, why has been invited to present his case for a debate on a future date? We could have accepted Kathirasan-ji's stand. I thought there were some errors in Shri Jay's posts that don't pass the test of commonsense (not prastAnatraya!). I was afraid I may lose track of them if I postponed my questions to a future date. I would still maintain that Shri Jay's answers have not satisfied me. In fact, I feel that he has cleverly skirted the real issues. This has given rise to more questions than have been answered so far. I have no choice now but to bury them. Anyway, I don't seem to qualify for the 'future debate' as my touch with the Vedas is just rudimentary. I can't even claim to know the Bhagawat Geetha well. Then, what to speak of the BrahmasUtras! Although it is none of my business, I can't also help wondring how many on this list are really qualified to engage Shri Jay in a discussion. As he has asked me, he will naturally ask them if they are proficinet in Vedas, have done samanvaya etc. etc. How many of us can answer in the affirmative? So, what we can at best do is listen. That would be like listening to Parabrahman! If we understand anything, we are just lucky! Best of luck then. PranAms.
