Guest guest
Namaste: First let me congratulate both Sri Dennis and Sri Sadananda for spearheading the month long discussion on "Fate and free will." The discussions were to a larger extent focusing and very educative and provided "everything that we need to know but afraid to ask" about our fate and free will. The list is very fortunate that the next month discussion will be jointly moderated by Sri Gummuluru and Sri Sunder. ProfVK has indicated in his email message that it is his favorite topic (also it should be a topic of great interest to most of the members of the list). The list by organizing the month long discussions is also able to guide the members to focus their thoughts to uplift their spirit and steer their life in the right direction. These topic oriented discussions are also part of a learning process and the list can use to improve its service the most productive way. May I request Murthigaru and Sunderji to spell out their expectations and guidance to the members so that we can all improve. Most importantly, when these discussions are over, the month long discussions saved in the archive will become permanent reference library for everyone. Looking forward to the opportunity to learn Jnana and Bhakti, Warmest regards, Ram Chandran Note: I am going for a month-long trip to India early next week and will be returning back to USA on first of June. I am likely to be travelling between places in India and may not be able to get access to the Internet during that time.

I do not know how competent I am to take up this task, but I am in the process of preparing a lead-article on this topic which I will be posting on May 1. I look forward to the discussions and do hope that the entire process of discussions will be a good learning process for all. Regards Gummuluru Murthy ------
