Awareness in the western sense is not the awareness of the vijnanamayakosa, there is a big difference between vijnana and the english philosophical term awareness. I never did much studying of the philosophers until I was in my forties. I started out working on building sites, in factories, cutting cane on cane farms, then eventually sales.
