To me, it is like 1 + 1 =2." Probably you have all gone through this in the past three months when I was not reading the advaitin postings. Still I hasten to point out the fallacy in the above logic. 'Brahman is Consciousness' combined with 'Brahman is One without a second' does not imply the nonexistence of the material world. It only means that the material world (and all that goes with it) is also Consciousness. "sarvam khalvidam brahma".
