Guest guest
Namaste: We all consider 'discussion topics' as a valuable means of enhancing our understanding of Shankara's advaita philosophy. Consequently, I browsed through the list archive and collected the list of topics discussed during this year. The topics for the months of March, April, May, August, September and October were (will be) led by list members. Interestingly during January, February, June and July list foccused on the topics listed under respective months without any designated leaders. Potential topics for future months are also listed below and we are looking for volunteers who can dedicate their time to prepare and lead the discussions. The file "Advaita Discussion Topics" at the site with the URL: advaitin contains the details. This file will be updated regularly and will be a useful reference file for the members. January: advaita and visistadvaita February: Blessed are the Peacemakers March: Meaning of Consciousness is One (Sri Benjamin) April:Fate and Freewill(Sri Dennis) May: j'nana and Bhakti (Sri Gummuluru and Sri Sunder) June: Some Ideas on Avatars (moderators) July: How I discovered the Awareness watching Awareness method. August: Paramacharya's Discourses on Saundaryalahari (ProfVK) September: Is there light in Enlightenment?
