Namaste:

has recently sent an annnouncement regarding changes of

its policy on accessing file/photos folders of lists served by them:

First, only enrolled members of the advaitin list can only access the

list file folders and the general public will not be able to access

them. If you send the file links to your friends who are not members

of the list, they will not be able to access those links. In other

words if any of your friends want to download the files from the

advaitin list File folders, they have to become a member (atleast on

a temporary basis.) Though the list moderators didn't impose this new

restriction, Mailing System has introduced this change.

The advaitin file folder is nicely organized by Sri Sunder Hatangadi

and he has volunteered to maintain the File and Bookmark folders

appropriately. Sri Sunderji has puts lots of his time to keep them

update and orderly. Members will have full privilege to download any

files that they want to use to enhance their knowledge. The file

folder is an important resource for the list members and consequently

any uploading of files into the list file folders will be handled

only by Sri Sunder. If any member wants to upload any files that have

potential use for the general membership, please contact Sri Sunder

who will be more than happy to accomodate reasonable requests.

The bookmarks folders (LINKS) are also quite useful to members who

want to get an access to sites with advaita and related literature.

The list provides full privilege to members to both upload and

download the bookmarks that they find to be valuable and relevant.

The list moderators request members not to upload inappropriate sites

including the commercial sites to the bookmark folder.

Thanks again for your cooperation, understanding and patronage.
