Guest guest
Namaste to all: I have been following the interesting questions and answers about advaita and reincarnation and ther's something I bellieve not to have understand it very well and I would like to be corrected. Atman and Brahman are identical. As far as I have understood, atman is the inner and truth self of man, and brahman is that divine , cosmic, concious energy that pervades in all and that is sat-cit-ananda. The inner self of human is ultimately sat-cit-ananda. Jiva is the human soul that from the vyavaharika point of view is differentiated from atman because tha jiva is the limited conciusness, but from the paramarthika point of view, jiva and atman are identical because the reality is that there's no jiva but only atman=brahman. Just as the inner space of a jar is not different from the outer space, being the jar itself unreal, just as the jiva. Is it correct? I would appreciate a lot your corrections. I have another question: The inner self of a human is identical with brahman becaus it can be fully reflected, experienced, known, etc., in a human conciusness. But what about animals? How is it named the "inner self" of animals"? Thank you once again. Ana Funes Net: La mejor conexión a internet y 25MB extra a tu correo por $100 al mes. The only difference is we have, or are supposed to have a more developed vijnamayakosa or awareness sheath. The animal is more in potential. However we are only dealing with the mind here. The Atman/Brahman in the animal is the same as in the human animal or plant or stone, how can it be any different?..When you fall asleep with your pet, you are in the same place with no difference.Unfortunately Brahman isn't fully reflected in most human animals or Humanzees....ONS...Tony.
