Guest guest
dear mr Nair, i think you have a point, in that Jivanmukti and jivanmukta are different.as per Adi Shankara in his Bhajagovindam he too says about Jivanmuktihi. jivanmukti is to be experienced by individual about which there is no past record or details to verify and confirm. but we have many saints who are Jivanmuktas who have realised themselves, and told us how to go about to that stage. scientifically, what mr Benjamin is trying to say is, he is comparing the advaita(self realisation) with nirvana(as per Bhudhiesm) and trying to say(or prove) both are same.he might be right to some extent. but self realisation cannot be brought under the umbrella of science, and neither the supreme power. if you read the Vishnu Saharanama the meanings given to the thousand names will fox our mind as to, can such an individual(supreme power) can exist as per our scinetific formulaes. pranams cdr bvn ______________________ Want to chat instantly with your online friends?
