Guest guest
Dear friends, It may interest many members that Ramana translated several works of Shankara freely into Tamil because he regarded existing Tamil translations inadequare .Arthur Osborne translated them into English and are in Ramana's Collected Works .Bhagavan also wrote intros. to each translation himself . in his intro. to the Atma Bodha he writes "Can Shankara, the enlighener of the Self,be different from one's own Self ? Who but he,does this day, abiding as the inmost Self in me,speak this in the Tamil language?" On the point made about Ramana knowing Tantra .His close friendship with Ganapati Muni assured this knowledge . Regards to all , Alan ______________________ Want to chat instantly with your online friends?
