Guest guest
Namaste once again, Related to my previous question about prayer and Vedanta, when Swamiji lectures to us on Gita, he intersperses many vedantic views. Swamiji surprised me when he said that in the beginning, the orientation must be dualist in order to introduce Vedanta to a western audience; later the orientation changes. Is it possible that prayer is "handled" in the same manner? My questions are of course very basic, and there is probably something in the archives with the keywords "basic, obvious, rehash," etc., but I thought that I'd ask anyway ;-) Thanks again, Bob
Guest guest
Dear Bob, Trust in your own heart, your own intuition. Trust that the sadguru is guiding you, just as the mother cat takes care of her kittens. It is true. Do not place your trust outside of yourSELF. Continue in the mood that seems right to you. Forget arcane discussions on the minutia of advaitic philosophy and be as you are. The sadguru bestows grace upon the simple. A mind taken to lofty philosophies is far, far from the truth.
