Guest guest
Many Pranams all I went to the quotes from sages section in http://www.advaita.org.uk/ Again as a beginner, I found the quote below disturbing though I realize it may be trying to tell me something deeper: " Enlightenment If you have the choice between enlightenment and a million dollars, take the million dollars! Because if you get the million dollars, there will be somebody there to enjoy the million dollars; but if you get enlightenment there's no one there to enjoy the enlightenment. Ramesh Balsekar " Many benefit from the Sattvic actions of say a Arjuna or Gandhiji or Mother Teresa. Many again benefit when the Great masters come down from the peaks of their realization to teach the suffering humanity - Adi Sankaracharya, Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Swami Chinmayananda etc. Is there no benefit at all to humanity or some humans when one person pursues his goal of self realization and having become a jivan Muktha stays on that plane! I believe there are many saints like that unknown to society. Many apologies if I am missing something very basic here. Many pranams to all Sridhar Harrow, London
