Guest guest
Dear All, Namaste Reference to a small part of shri Anand's message below: " > Those who are submerged in Sattva go upwards > The Rajas dwell in the middle Tamasa, > abiding in the function of the lowest [guna], go downwards > > > > Dave Anand " I can understand man devolving into lower forms due to excess of Rajas or tamas. A person with higher sattva evolves faster than his counterparts. How does one explain evolution of lower forms to man. I believe both in the Animal kingdom and with Devas there is no concept of papa karma or punya Karma. Then how does one explain say a particular lion or cat or elephant evolving into a man in subsequent births in preference to other members of their type. I am enjoying the discussions on consciousness. My apologies in advance for another diversion into gross matter. Many Pranams Sridhar

It is that which takes them back to a human being after they have spent out their animal life (or deva-life, if they are devas).
