Guest guest
To The Moderators and Sri Ananda, Ananda said: "There will not be time this month to discuss these further prakriyas, but I will try to post some short accounts of them, as indicated earlier. Of course, they will only raise more questions ..." I sincerely hope that everyone will join me in hoping that Ananda will be willing, and the moderators will allow him, to continue this series and conclude the summary of Atmananda's teaching. I for one have found it to be the most stimulating, lucid and valuable discussion for a long time. Best wishes, Dennis P.S. Thanks too, to Greg, for his statement: 'You say, "there are no percepts, thoughts or feelings outside of consciousness." And for this very reason, there are no thoughts or feelings inside consciousness either!' This knocked a serious hole in my mental barriers! The subject-object both arise in consciousness. It is not that percepts, thoughts, feeling are not there - but they are there who sees them. When scripture says 'tat aikshata bahusyaam' - it saw and became many - since it is one without a second - how can it see and what can it see - This is just the way scripture has to come to explain perceptions, thoughts and feelings etc in itself - the apparent plurality within. Inside and outside are both notions with respect to body but body itself is within the consciousness. Dennis - I hope the hole is not serious since it is filled with consciousness since you are already conscious of the hole present inside?. Hari OM! Guest guest
Namaste and Pranams to all Sadanandaji's witty play with the contents of hole in Dennis's thought structure reminded me of another person ( I think it was Deepak Chopra in an interview with Larry King- I will try and locate the transcript ) saying 'We are trying to understand DNA'. could it be that the DNA is trying to understand itself through humans? I second Dennis's sentiments on continuiing with Teachings of Atmanada regards and many pranams sridhar > Dennis - I hope the hole is not serious since it is filled with > consciousness since you are already conscious of the hole present > inside?. > > > Hari OM! > Sadananda
