Namaste:

Welcome back to Sri Nair after his short vacation.

New members are once again reminded that they should avoid keeping

the unnecessary tails with messages of previous posters while sending

replies. It is quite understandable for once a while if we fail to

follow all the rules that we are supposed to remember. It is our

human tendency which force us to forget and 'make mistakes' and no

one is an exception (included me) in the list). By reminding our

mistakes as Sadaji and Nairji did, we can all avoid falling in

slippery slopes!

Her is an example for my mistake - Instead of deleting the

inappropriate message of Devanand on the subject of Iraq (Sadaji

rightly pointed out its inappropriateness to this list), I approved

it! Though the message has been deleted from the archive, enough

damage was already done by releasing it.

I want to take this opportunity to remind Sri Devanand and other

members who send inappropriate messages that their posting privileges

may be withdrawn if they repeat sending such messages. The list does

not want to exercise this option unless it is absolutely necessary.

But the list will not hesitate to exercise this option.

Here is another helpful note to our members: When you send a reply,

the reply goes to the list but sometimes members may intent to send

the reply only to one member. If it is so, please check the email

address on your message and make sure that it is the email address of

thee intented person and not the list's mailing address.

As always, we list moderators want to thank the members for their

cooperation and continued support.

Warmest regards,

Ram Chandran

On behalf of all List Moderators.

Ramji!

I wasn't on vacation. I was just having one of my periodic blues,

wherefrom I was 'witnessing' Anandaji's advaitic (linguistic as well)

efflorescence. Oh, what a confession to make for an advaitin!

Thanks for the welcome.

Respects.

Namaste all.

An afterthought to my reply earlier today to Ramji(quoted below).

I don't have any reason to confess my blues. Here is the Malayalam

play-back singer Chitra-ji singing a devotional in her melodious

voice. A devotee is having the Lord's darshan at Guruvayoor temple.

Chitra-ji sings about him: "I am melting in here as

ArjunavishAdarAga!". I dare not attempt a translation as the beauty

of it is beyond me to capture in English. Chitra-ji is reassuring me

here. May all my blues be ArjunavishadarAga that invokes wisdom!
